All bedrooms are air-conditioned. Each room is provided with daily fresh towels, Gardner’s candies, a clock radio, flashlight, and other amenities chosen specifically for our guests. The rooms that share a bath are provided with robes, to ease your comfort in walking to the bathroom at the end of the hallway.
Mattie's Room - Mattie was married to John K. Johnston and it is in this house that they raised their children. This corner room provides a beautiful vista of Stony Point. Guests will enjoy a private period bath and a queen size bed.
Cost: $85/night or as a suite $185/night Maggie's Room - Guests are provided with a private period bath and a full size poster bed. The view from the room overlooks the front yard and its dozens of majestic Sycamore, Oak and Hemlock trees, many over 100 years old. Cost: $110/night Andy's Room - Andy’s room faces the wooded ridge behind the property and offers the visitor daily views of our region’s wildlife: deer, song birds, and other creatures of the wood. This room shares a bath at the end of the hallway. Cost: $85/night Eleanor's Room - This great room contains a 130 year old rope bed, equivalent to a full size bed. This room features original wallpaper. It shares a bath in the hallway. Eleanor's Room just happens to be the Innkeeper's favorite! Cost: $85/night Room Rentals Please add 6% state sales tax and 3% county bed tax to your account. Two night minimum stays are required on high demand weekends. Rates are based upon double occupancy and do not change for single usage.
2 Single Rooms with private baths $110/night - double occupancy Special Rentals High demand weekends Please add $15/night and a two night minimum are required. These weekends include: PSU football games, PSU graduation, October festival season and all holidays. A $20 additional fee is changed for extra guests. We have a roll away bed available. Group retreats that occupy the entire house is $430.00/night (10% off full rental, two night minimum on weekends) Daytime use of downstairs facilities, between 12:00 - 6:00 PM - $100/day Nighttime use of downstairs facilities, 6:00 - 10:00 PM - $150/day Use of the site and house as photographic scenic opportunities - $45. Rates include a full breakfast, use of leisure areas (dining room, library, living room, trails, porch and yard), air conditioned bedrooms and an evening refreshment. Soda is available in a small refrigerator in the first floor main hallway closet. Please call for further information on rates and special promotions. |
